  • The term “somatic" means “relating to the body.” Did you know that the body (not the mind) is the foundational point for healing? Trauma, emotional responses, and patterns are all stored in your body, so the body–not the mind/brain–is the most effective way to create lasting transformation.

    Somatics take a more effective “bottom up” approach versus other modalities that take a “top down” focusing on the mind/mindset.

  • Somatic modalities alleviate stress and anxiety, lower blood pressure, heal trauma, cultivate emotional resilience, create new neural pathways, increase body and self-awareness, deeper/longer focus, and improve performance. This list goes on!

  • Somatic healing/release uses scientifically proven techniques to help you release any pent-up trauma trapped in your body by modifying the stress response, strengthening the mind-body connection, and creating new neural pathways.

  • Neural pathways are connected neurons that process the information we receive. They enable us to interact, as well as experience emotions and sensations. They create our memories and enable us to learn. So by creating new neural pathways, you are able to create your new experience and consequently, your new reality.

    Ever wonder why you logically know something is irrational but deep down you can’t help but feel differently? You notice that sometimes there’s a disconnect between what you know to be true and what you feel to be true. Somatic modalities can help you bridge that gap. Somatic modalities help your body and brain get on the same page and work together.

    Why? How? Because trauma is actually stored in the body.

    Somatic Healing releases trauma, past experiences, emotions, and emotional responses from your body. Create new patterns and break the cycles way faster than you can with thought work/mindset shifting alone. Instead of efforting, let your body do the work effortlessly for you. Cut straight to the source–the body–with somatic healing.

  • Some somatic modalities include breathwork, Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT Tapping), chanting, shaking, and other movements.

  • Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) uses a variety of somatic techniques to release emotions from your body. EFT–also known as Tapping, or EFT Tapping–takes your nervous system from a stressed state to a neutral state. EFT gets your body on board by tapping on various meridians or body points while repeating after a practitioner. With EFT, you can break habits, release blocks, break the cycle, move stagnant energy, heal, modify your stress response, create new neural pathways, rewire your brain, break patterns, and heal on a cellular level.

    Think of EFT tapping as CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, also known as talk therapy, a technique used by therapists) mixed with acupressure because you're tapping on different meridians and channels in your body, which help energy flow freely. This combination of tapping while talking/repeating things produces massive release and transformation. You immediately feel lighter, clearer, and are open to all life’s possibilities. This heightened sense of relief in you brings about emotional freedom and emotional resilience.

    When I talk about tapping, I’m not referring to some special healing technique that can only be practiced by practitioners like myself. But I aim to empower you to empower yourself. You can tap on different parts of your body and heal.

    And so releasing somatically, you're able to release trauma from your body, release lower-vibrating emotions from your body, release whatever is keeping you stuck from moving forward, breaking that cycle, and opening yourself up to new possibilities. This allows you to ultimately put yourself in the driver's seat and choose a new reality versus passively allowing life to happen to you.n text goes here
