YouTube Channel Manager

Description.

In search of a YouTube channel manager, someone to help grow my YouTube Channel. It’s fairly new. I took a little pause over this last year after I gave birth to my third. I am getting back into the swing of things, traveling a ton solo with my three kids under 5, and I have backlogged trips that I’d like turned into vlogs immediately so that I can continue to create new content and provide more value to my people.

Here is a bit about me, K. Domiana Ndour:

Domiana is a retired pro athlete turned 2x best-selling author, international speaker, somatic healer + mindfulness coach. She helps conscious humans unlock potential, heal generational trauma, cultivate emotional resilience, and deepen self development to create more energy, balance, and ease in their lives. With her help, they are able to alleviate the weight of life’s stressors, get rid of burnout, and create emotional freedom. The channel targets overwhelmed, exhausted stay-at-home moms who want their energy back so they can rock motherhood with grace and ease, but her message reaches way beyond that.

Domiana is a magnetic force who truly believes that motherhood is a celebration. It can be be such and empowering experience. You can either be burdened by motherhood or empowered by it, and from the life that Domiana lives, clearly she chooses to to be empowered and still finds ways to do the things she’s loves. She shares the wisdom she’s collected from her adventures mom-in’ it with her pro-athlete husband. Domiana is constantly rooting and uprooting each season but calls Scottsdale, AZ home base.

Now, more about this role…

  • Edit 3-5 vlogs a week (15-minute videos max)
    ➞ I’m not big on edits. I wanna keep this as organic, authentic, and on-brand as possible (brand: busy stay-at-home mom of young toddlers who is far from perfect and pressed for time). So nothing too fancy or crazy, just some simple jump cuts and edits and make it more cohesive and look legit but not too polished
    ➞ Vlog style videos (example: a day in the life, travel, pregnancy updates)
    ➞ Informational videos (example: how to make Seamoss gel, herbs for pregnancy, first-trimester energy hacks, what to do when you’re triggered as a mom)
    ➞ Subtitles/captions would be really great for moms with napping kids or hearing impaired, and for SEO

    Upload and schedule videos
    ➞ be strategic and leverage the YouTube algorithm and SEO

    Submit work according to this schedule:
    ➞Tuesday: send drafts of videos, title, teaser for social media, descriptions and thumbnail
    ➞ Wednesday: you’ll receive edits on video, title, teaser for social media, description, and thumbnail from Domiana
    ➞ Thursday: make final edits and receive final approval
    ➞ Friday: schedule on the appropriate platforms and share links to team

    Meet weekly
    ➞ one or two times a week to discuss the vision for videos and edits (1-2 hours a week) when first starting you’ll need more direction and time but as we get to know each other this will be less and less time

    Organize existing content into playlists

Right now I am cross-promoting on Instagram and through my email list. I am open to new growth strategies and ideas to help make this successful so we can touch the lives of those who need it most. I have all my branding, typography, color scheme, so you’ll be able to incorporate everything seamlessly into all of my other social media channels and overall brand.
